It's the Summer Holidays 😎☀️

With children having more time to spend online during the Summer Holidays, we wanted to share ChildLine's tips for feeling good on Social Media.

See the link below for some tips to share with children during the holidays ⬇️

We’ve got advice to help you feel good when you are using social media apps – like Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat. If something has gone wrong online, Childline is always here to listen.

Together for Childhood recently spoke to over 1,300 children and young people to better understand how we can help keep them safe from abuse and neglect.

We wanted to know what young people know, think and would do about abuse and we learned that they would like more help with:
💔 understanding emotional and domestic abuse
👁️‍🗨️ how to spot the signs of an unhealthy relationship
✅ where to get support when they have concerns

We’ve highlighted some of our key findings in this short animation and you can access the full research report here:

We spoke with the group about Cyber Bullying and how this can make people feel and what they can do if they ever face difficulties online or using an app.

Looking forward to going back next week 😀💡

Have you heard about
NSPCC's Listen up, Speak up campaign?

⭐️It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a community to keep children safe⭐️

That’s why we’re encouraging every adult in the UK to take our free 10-minute digital training* and learn what to do if you’re ever worried about a child or their family.

Our free, 10-minute digital training will help you know what to do if a child needs help, or if you need support yourself.
