Glasgow Coastal Rowing Club

Glasgow Coastal Rowing Club Established in 2016, we row three skiffs, two built by GalGael and one built by the club with the Cl Coastal rowing is good exercise, social and cheap.

Glasgow Coastal Rowing Club was established in 2016, joining a movement that started in Anstruther a few years ago to reinstate the rowing races that took place in the middle of last century, mainly in the mining towns. It needs no special skills or strength and need not be competitive. Our club operates three skiffs, Gobhancroit and Lady Danger, built and kindly lent to the club by Galgael, and Kelvin Kelpie, built with The Tall Ship and also on loan to us.

Our Annual General Meeting to discuss the viability of club takes place on 10 March, 6:30pm at the Hyndland Bowling Club. It’s important that as many full members as possible attend for club updates. Members are invited to attend through Spond.
