The annual Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event, with over 240,000 people picking up their walking boots since 2016. Last year in particular was a big success, smashing records with a fantastic £8.3 million going to over 1,800 Scottish charities.

We’re still looking for volunteers! 💙

Could you be one of the friendly faces welcoming visitors to The Eric Liddell Community?

We’re looking for warm, approachable volunteers to join our team in a Meet & Greet role at our community hub.

You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere, support visitors to find their way around, and help people discover the services, activities and opportunities available.

If you enjoy meeting people and helping others feel comfortable and confident in a community setting, we’d love to hear from you.

The Kiltwalk is coming up!

As the annual Kiltwalk on Sunday 13th September is soon approaching, we want to urge our community to support Eric Liddell Community so we can continue our vital work.

All funds will proceed directly to us and will immediately help support people living with dementia, those experiencing loneliness and isolation, and our wider community work. Plus, donations will be eligible for gift aid, meaning that up to 125% of all funds you raise will help our community!

Registration includes the automatic creation of a fundraising page, making it quick and easy for you to do. Plus, team members will receive an Eric Liddell Community top, goodie bag and
a big old celebration when you cross the line!

The Eric Liddell Community is seeking warm, friendly, and approachable volunteers to join our team in a meet and greet role based in our community hub.

As one of the first people visitors meet, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere, support people to find their way around the building, and help them understand the services, activities, and opportunities available.

If you enjoy meeting people, offering reassurance, and helping others feel confident in a community setting, this is an excellent opportunity to support a leading charity providing vital support to people living with dementia, carers and the wider community.
