💷 Over £5 million secured for patients, carers and staff across NHS Lothian

We are delighted to see the impact of the Hospital-Based Advice Service, delivered by Citizens Advice Edinburgh in partnership with NHS Lothian and NHS Lothian Charity.

Our advisers work directly within healthcare settings, helping people access benefits, manage debt, address housing issues and maximise their income at times when ill health can place significant pressure on finances.

Together, the service has now helped secure more than £5 million in financial support for patients, carers and NHS staff across NHS Lothian.

This milestone demonstrates how timely advice can improve financial security, reduce stress and support better health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals and families.

A huge thank you to our dedicated advisers, NHS colleagues and partners whose collaboration continues to make a real difference every day.
