🤗 Great news, After our wonderful Summer Fayre Fundraiser on Friday, the big count has taken place in our HQ 🤗🥁...... We are delighted to announce that we made the grand total of £525.86 🥳, which is an amazing amount folks 🙌.
Less our expenses to host and deliver the event we have made a profit of £189.03, which is still an amazing amount 👏.
As the main purpose of our events are always to, Bring our community members together, to make meaningful connections, to encourage people to attend other events, to let people within our community know what our charity offer and how we can help.support them, our events also help stall holders to promote their wonderfull products, keeping the costs down for everyone involved.
Reach Out Community Wellbeing and Support EK Charity, done All of the above on Friday, and we couldnt be happier with how the event went, we All enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with everyone who made it along - THANK YOU 💙💛💜.
We have many people to thank 😊, so here goes 😁

🌟 We’re excited to announce the launch of our Connected Together Project! 🌟

Parenting can be rewarding, challenging, and everything in between.
This project is all about creating a safe, supportive space where parents can connect, share experiences, support one another, and build a strong community together. 💛

We will be offering mindfulness and wellbeing sessions, teas and coffees and other light activities.

Our first session will be held on Thursday 18th June - If you would like to book a place or would like some more information, contact us on 01355571300 or [email protected]

Did you know 😏, we aim to help ANYONE here at Reach Out Community Wellbeing and Support EK , So when one of our wonderful service users asked if we knew of any companies who could make her a catheter bag cover ??, We did not!!!, however that didn't stop us, Like I said "we aim to help Anyone".

So during our Connection through Creativity group our amazingly talented volunteer Kirsty Sproat offered to give it a go 🤗 and crochet a custom made catheter bag cover 🙌. Honestly we were all amazed 🤩, Kirsty done it and the quality was fantastic. Our service user couldn't be more happy with it, I feel the request for other colours may be next 😆.

Kirsty went above and beyond to help and we are all truly grateful 🤩.

At Reach Out Connection through Creativity we reuse and recycle ♻️ as much as we can and that's why donations of wool and crafting items are always so appreciated 😊.

At our Connection through Creativity there is no limit to what we can make/invent/upcycle/repurpose, we will give anything a go 🙌.

Again a massive THANK YOU to our wonderfully talented and supportive volunteer oor Kirsty 🤩💛

We will continue to Reach Out to anyone who needs our help 💙💛💜.

A week to go until our Summer Fayre 🤗🥳... We've been so busy pulling this altogether (in such a short space of time). As this will be our last event at the Calderwood Community Hall, before it's taken over by??? (Who knows?!)
So we're really looking forward to Welcoming you All along 😊
