For some of the children we support, getting to school can mean a 45-minute walk.

Imagine making that journey in shoes that don’t fit, or without a raincoat when it rains. By the time a child gets into the classroom, they can already be wet, uncomfortable and struggling to concentrate — before the first lesson has even started.

A raincoat or a pair of school shoes might seem like a small thing. But for many, they can mean starting the school day dry, comfortable and ready to take part.

Through the Hope Exchange, you can provide something practical a child needs right now. A simple act of hope could help a child arrive at school dry, comfortable and ready to learn.

Designed for practitioners working in local authorities and the third sector, this course is relevant for social workers, accommodation support workers, foster carers, or ESOL teachers.

A far-right march and counter protest are planned in Glasgow city centre on Saturday 25 July. We urge anyone who is concerned to avoid the area if possible.

Citizenship for children £300 p.p plus £150 if fee waiver is required (discount for multiple applications submitted at the same time)
*Citizenship for adult £300 - £500*
Family Reunion for Refugees £400 - £800
Entry Clearance/Dependent Family Member £400 - £800
Visit visa £400 - £800
Further leave to remain (5/10 year route) £400 - £800 plus £150 if fee waiver required
Settlement after 5 years as a Refugee/Humanitarian Protection £400
Settlement after 10 years long residence £400 - £600
Appeals including representation in court £1800+ depending on complexity
Hourly rates: L1 £75; L2 £100; L3 £150 (applicable to consultations and non-standard applications)

🔴 Community Integration and Advocacy Centre (CIAC) is a registered charity which is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) at Level 3 (for all types of immigration applications including representation in appeals).
CIAC charges very low fees for people with a positive immigration status. The low fees we charge help to pay for the very substantial pro bono (free) applications we complete for people without a positive immigration status (asylum seekers and unauthorised migrants) and people fleeing domestic abuse. Approximately 75% of our work is pro bono.
