Please see below for our November Compassionate Communities timetable.

Compassionate Communities is a partnership between Kilbryde Hospice and Macmillan Improving the Cancer Journey (ICJ).

Bringing practical, emotional and wellbeing support directly into local neighbourhoods for people affected by cancer, frailty, bereavement, palliative diagnoses and social isolation.

This pilot offers easy-to-access drop-in support through local hubs as well as access via our Compassionate Communities Minibus.

No appointment is needed and all are welcome 💙

Kilbryde Hospice have a new furniture store in East Kilbride shopping centre and urgently need volunteers to help out Kenny who manages the store.

Kenny and his team are pictured in the attached photo and we hope you'll join them!

Maybe you are a student with a morning or afternoon free and would like to add volunteering to your CV or university application?

We also open on Saturdays which could suit younger volunteers from 14 years old who can volunteer accompanied by an adult.

You could learn new skills or share your skills and experience with other volunteers.

Remember a loved one, honour a special person or occasion in your life. You can purchase an engraved brick to be placed on Tony’s Path, a memorial path that wanders around the grounds of Kilbryde Hospice.

Brick sponsorship starts at £80 for a single paver, and ordering couldn’t be easier. You can sponsor a brick in celebration of a special event such as a birthday or wedding, or to remember someone special to you.

Sponsoring a brick offers individuals, groups, companies and schools an opportunity to support Kilbryde Hospice with their own specially engraved brick that our patients and visitors can enjoy for years to come.

Soup with a Serenade runs every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month between 1 and 2pm. Enjoy some live music while you lunch at Joe's Bistro.
