LifeSavers Scotland We are a not-for-profit organisation that aims to transport blood and blood products from where they are to where they need to be, on an out of hours basis.

We operate on an out of hours basis to provide the Trusts' with an alternative free service to transport vital or critical bloods, organs and time sensitive items from where they are, to where they need to be. The aim of the service is to give the Trusts' options as to who they choose to deliver the products they need and always at ZERO COST to them, thus allowing vital funds to be used where it matters most.... On Front Line Services! We do not see ourselves as a replacement service but as a partner to be called upon in a very difficult, pressured environment.

I thought we,d take time to mention Rob Paterson, a rider of the open road and a friend to all. He lived for the joy of biking, and was interested in joining Lifesavers Scotland to help others.

We’d like to thank Debbie , Rob's family and the congregation for their generous gift of £920 to Lifesavers Scotland in his memory.
Rob’s spirit was always about helping others, and this is a beautiful way to honor that dedication.

In the end, he gave more than he asked, and still thought of others before himself.
Thank you from all of us at Lifesavers Scotland.

We at LifeSavers are also devastated to hear that the bike Wales rider,
Andrew Rodgers.
who was involved in a collision while on duty on Monday night, has sadly passed away.

All the Volunteers LifeSavers Scotland continue to send love, comfort and prayers 🙏 to All Andrew's family ,colleagues and friends 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

As 2025 draws to a close were thinking of all the staff at the NHS Woking away as usual.
A special wish for the Welsh Blood Bike brother brought down during his duties this week.
Off course a big thank you and best wishes to all our volunteers in Lanarkshire and Ayrshire suppoing NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
