Colliers are Robert Taft Champions! 🏆

After trailing at the end of the first quarter, Colliers fought back to take a narrow 1 point lead into halftime. The squad came out firing in the second half, building momentum and stretching the lead to 12 points.

The Broncos responded with intense, physical defence in the fourth, cutting the gap to just 1 point with under 20 seconds remaining. But Colliers held their nerve knocking down a crucial free throw and finishing with a clutch basket to secure a 4 point victory.

A massive performance from Cameron Barber earned him Finals MVP honours.

We would like to say a big thanks to Bishopton Broncos Basketball for a great finals and well done to both their division 2 and 1 teams for making it to their respective finals.

It’s been an unforgettable year for Division 2— from joining Colliers at the start of the season to finally lifting the Cup. After the heartbreaking loss of our coach just before the finals, this victory means even more. We dedicate this win to Jay 🫶

Finally, thank you to everyone who came out to support us—we couldn’t have done it without you!

🏀 Division 2 – Final Home Game of the Season

Division 2 still have a few league games left to play, but this Wednesday marks their final home game of the season as they take on Oatlands Basketball.

The last time these two sides met was in the Cup Quarter Finals, where Colliers came out on top. Expect Oatlands to come in hungry for revenge, so this one promises to be a great game to watch 👀

The Colliers family are devastated to hear of the sudden passing of Jay Lennartson

Jay was part of the Spartans (now Division 2) team for many years, dedicating countless evenings each week to coaching and supporting players who have been part of both the Colliers and Spartans squads.

Jay was not only a coach and mentor but also a genuinely great person and a true friend who will be dearly missed by so many.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Jay’s wife, Susan, and his family during this incredibly difficult time.

D2 are into the SEMIS! 🔥
After a slow start against Oatlands B.C the boys flipped a switch in the second half and powered to a comfortable quarter-final win.

Next up: Glasgow Storm or Lion Rocks at Easterhouse Sports Centre on March 28th.
