We are thrilled to announce that our Fundraising Group total for 2025-2026 was a mind blowing ยฃ46,500.

We could not do what we do without the support of our regular supporters, our friends who join us at our events and those who donate money into our collection Tins during our collections or in shops.

You're all amazing and we are forever thankful. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿซถ๐ŸŒผ

This International Nurses Day, we want to give a special shout out to all our amazing nurses and healthcare assistants who work for Marie Curie ๐Ÿ’›

You may have spotted two of our nurses in the Belfast Telegraph and Sunday Life this week โ€“ married couple, Paul and Jennifer, who are celebrating a combined 100 years of nursing service, and shared why they love their jobs.

Jennifer said: โ€œIt might sound strange to some people, but I really love my work. No one wants to die in pain and being able to change that for someone makes an enormous difference to that person and their family."

Paul added: โ€œIf you put my personality traits into a job-matching computer, it would throw out nurse every time. I was just made for it,โ€

โ€œNone of the people Iโ€™ve cared for have said they wish theyโ€™d spent more time at work. Itโ€™s always about spending as much time as possible with family and the people you love. This job reminds you every day of what really matters.โ€

โญYou can read more about Paul and Jennifer's story in this week's Sunday Life and in the Belfast Telegraph.

๐ŸŒผThank you to all the nurses and healthcare assistants on the Marie Curie team ๐ŸŒผ

This is the moment our To The End team crossed the finish line at the London Marathon after 8 hours of walking.

They took on this challenge to represent what it truly means to be there for someone, right until the end.

Along the route, they paused to support others, offering the same care, kindness and compassion they show every day in their work.

We couldnโ€™t be prouder of their perseverance and everything they represent. ๐Ÿ’›
