When accidents or illness occur the skills of our personnel are vital in preventing further harm and saving lives. St John Ambulance responds to hundreds of local incidents and major accidents each year. We play a crucial role in supporting the emergency services when help is needed. Wo

rking closely in partnership with numerous NHS Trusts, health services and private companies across the UK, we provide a range of patient transport solutions, tailored to meet individual needs. In addition to the first aid activities and services that we undertake, we also run a range of community support programmes, which focus on health and social care in the community.

We had some VIPs (Very Important Puppies) visit our Unit last Week!

Breeze & Stoer with their puppy raiser's gave our volunteers a greater understanding of the work involved in training a puppy and how best to deal with a Guide Dog in the event of a medical emergency with their human partner.

Our thanks to the Guide Dogs Northern Ireland volunteers, Christine & Alana, who kindly gave up their Wednesday night.

🎃 Happy Halloween from everyone at St John Ambulance NI!

A quick reminder that our Headquarters is closed today (Friday 31 October), but our amazing volunteers and operations team are out across Northern Ireland providing first aid cover and keeping everyone safe at events. 💚

If you’re celebrating tonight, have fun, stay safe, and look out for our teams in green - they’ll be working hard to make sure everyone enjoys the festivities safely! 👏
