A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to Eagles Wings towards the purchase of the new van. It should be out on the streets of Dundee in the next few weeks or so. Here are some photos of the ultra that many of you so generously supported. Thanks once again

Really lovely poem written by an amazing young lady who was raising money for Eagles Wings at her school.
Thank you Lucy your a credit to your family and school!

Homelessness is a quiet sadness many people pass each day,
a sleeping bag beneath the street lights,
a life that seems to slip away.
Close your eyes for a minute and imagine you have nowhere to go,
the sky your roof, the ground your pillow,
colder nights than vou could know .
You walk the streets while shops are closing , your hands are numb and your stomach tight ,
wondering where you'll lay your head when darkness comes toniqht.
People pass rarely notice ,
some look down and walk on by,
but inside vou holds a small hope that someone kind might pass nearby.
That kindness shines through Eagles Wings ,
a place where helping hearts belong,
offering warmth,
care and friendship
and reminding people they are strong,.
Because everyone deserves compassion
and a chance to start again ,
and thanks to eagles wings,
hope can slowly find it's way back in .
