Our Friday Fundraiser this week is our wonderful friend Lucy who has raised an incredible £1103.75 for Maggie’s Dundee 🧡

Lucy challenged herself to run in this year’s London Marathon raising this amazing amount in sponsorship money for our centre.

Huge thank you to Lucy for your hard work, dedication and kindness in choosing to support Maggie’s.

Our Friday Fundraiser this week is our wonderful friend Ian who has raised a further £438.75 for Maggie’s Dundee 🧡

Ian along with his friends has supported many of our events including Run the Runway , our sponsored 5k on Dundee Airport’s runways at night. This year he took on our firewalk for a second time and raised this incredible amount in sponsorship.

Whether you’re greeting visitors at the centre or lending your support at our fundraising events, your generosity makes it possible for our expert team to continue being there for people and their loved ones when cancer turns life upside down🧡

Tickets are selling fast for Glamis Castle Running Festival, taking place on Sunday the 13th September at Glamis Castle 🧡

With 3 distances to choose from and a choice of running or walking the routes, it’s suitable for all fitness levels.

Be part of our Running Festival and choose to take on our sponsored 1 mile, 5k or 10k in the beautiful grounds of Glamis Castle.

This is a fantastic opportunity to run in one of Scotland’s most historic and beautiful settings.

All participants will receive a Maggie’s t-shirt or running vest along with dedicated fundraising support and a commemorative medal.

Our Maggie’s 1 mile challenge is all inclusive and paths are suitable for buggies and are wheelchair accessible.

Our 5k and 10k challenges will take place on mainly firm trail paths around the Castle Grounds, with some mixed terrain to keep things exciting.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by participating adults.

Well behaved dogs are welcome too but are to be kept on leads at all times. There will be complimentary doggy bandanas for our canine supporters to wear.

Registration is £30 and we ask that you try to raise as much sponsorship money as you can for Maggie’s to help us to be here - today, tomorrow and always - for everyone impacted by cancer.

We are so excited for our Mast Climb today and can’t wait to welcome our 36 amazing participants to RRS Discovery for their adventure🧡

A huge thank you to our lovely friends at Discovery Point and RRS Discovery for hosting us and to the Zone Events team for this experience 🧡

A massive thank you to our event partners Malmaison Dundee , who along with supporting so many of our events, are very kindly treating our wonderful Mast Climbers to a complimentary glass of fizz at their beautiful hotel after the climb, to help celebrate their amazing achievement in style 🧡

Together our Mast Climbers have already raised an incredible £18,058 for Maggie’s Dundee and we are so grateful to them all for raising both vital funds and awareness for Maggie's Centres 🧡

We can’t wait to cheer them on today, please come down to support them too 🧡
