🎉 Senior Youth Club | Ages 14–18 🎉

What a great evening at Youth Start! 🙌

🍫 We got creative in the kitchen making some delicious cereal buns — with plenty of teamwork (and taste testing! 😋).

💬 We also had some great conversations about upcoming plans, ideas and projects, giving everyone the chance to share their thoughts and get involved.

🎲 To finish off the session, things got very competitive with a game of Monopoly! Who had the best strategy and who went bankrupt? 😂💸

Greater Shantallow Community Arts is recruiting a Full-Time Local Area Youth Development Leader in Charge to lead our Youth Start Galliagh provision.

📍 Location: Galliagh
🤝 In partnership with: Education Authority Youth Service
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours per week
💷 Salary: £31,300 gross per annum
📅 Contract: Fixed term, 2026–2029, subject to annual funding review

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead, manage and deliver GSCA’s Youth Start Galliagh open access youth provision under the EA Youth Services Local Area Provision framework.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape high-quality, safe, inclusive and responsive youth work for young people aged 9–18 years, supporting their personal, social and creative development.

The role will include:
• Programme leadership and direct youth work delivery
• Team supervision and support
• Safeguarding responsibility
• Strategic planning and development
• Ensuring delivery meets the Model for Effective Practice and EA funding requirements
