CIO: 1208216 Our Centre is run by Volunteers, who offer support, friendship and information to cancer patients, their families and carers, indeed anyone whose l

ife is touched by cancer in the Dereham area. Visit for a coffee and a chat with our volunteers; some of whom have had cancer themselves and have experienced what you may be going through, others have lost a loved one to cancer and are now here to support you. Extensive literature from Macmillan Cancer Support is available to you: explaining cancer types, various treatment options, living with cancer, nutrition, well being, and helpful advice on complimentry therapies are all available. Leaflet information on various support and backup services is available for both patients and carers. We offer lending of equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, rubber rings and Chillow Pillows for patients. Appointments with our qualified therapist for Reflexology and Indian head massage can be arranged at the Centre. Our Charity sponsors treatment sessions for cancer patients and their carers. This service is also offered to those recently bereaved who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Well fabulous work team Dereham. 93 pebbles is the record to beat for next year.

Mr Caterpillar now has his head and will stay for a few more days so please do go and visit.

If you would like to take a pebble in memory of someone please do. Or if you’d like to take and hide please feel free. We just ask you tag us.

A huge Thankyou to everyone who has taken part in making our DCC pebble Caterpillar, whether you’ve joined us in painting, hiding or seeking you have all been amazing 🐛

This week at DCC:
Thursday 10-12 come and join us for Knit, natter, crochet & chat. Beginner or expert….. all welcome

Also Thursday you are welcome to join the compassionate cafe from 2:30-4:30
💜
Friday join the amazing Harriet who teaches art & craft the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.
£5 donation.
Pre booking is a must as spaces are limited. Just call the centre on the number listed below

Our pebble caterpillar continues to grow in the Queen Mothers Garden so please keep a lookout around town for hidden pebbles to add and make our caterpillar the longest Dereham has ever seen!!!

Thursday is our monthly BINGO at DCC HQ. Eyes down at 7:30pm. Bring your own refreshments and some extra Pennie’s for the raffle
