Dereham & District Flower club usually meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at Toftwood Village Hall, 47 Shipdham Road, Toftwood NR19 1JL and is open to members and visitors alike. We hold floral demonstrations with exhibits raffled off at the end of the evening, a bric-a-brac and book stall and refreshments. We also hold one open evening per year in April when visitors are invited to come along. We celebrate our Golden Anniversary (50 years) in 2026 and the club continues to thrive.

🌸 Fancy getting creative with flowers this Autumn? 🌸

✨ Let your imagination bloom at the Norfolk & Norwich Horticultural Society’s Late Autumn Show! ✨

The show takes place on Sunday 8th November 2026, and we’d love to see as many people as possible taking part in our floral art competition!

Whether you’re an experienced floral artist or have always fancied having a go, why not take the plunge? It’s a wonderful opportunity to get creative, try something new and have some fun with flowers and foliage. You never know what you might create! 🌿💐

🎄 Two inspiring titles to spark your imagination:
🌟 ‘Oh Holy Night’
🎁 ‘It’s Arrived’

What wonderful possibilities these titles offer! Let your creativity run wild and see where your imagination takes you.

👧 There’s also a junior class, so our younger budding floral artists can join in the fun too!

🗓️ Important entry deadline: Entries must be submitted by 6.00pm on Wednesday 4th November.

💚 Go on, give it a go! You don’t need to be an expert to take part, just a little imagination and a love of creating something beautiful. We can’t wait to see the ideas you come up with!

📩 Questions or need more information? Contact Jacquie Aldous at [email protected].

🌼 Get inspired, get creative and be part of the show! 🌼

He provided wonderful flower designs to the topic of 'Kaleidoscope 25' with a delightful talk throughout the evening. The meeting was held at Toftwood Village Hall, Dereham. The competition for Novice and Open Class received flower designs to the title of 'Harvest Basket'.

Wow!! Didn't members of Norwich Group of Flower Clubs do well with the Autumnal Splendour Flower Festival at All Saints Church in Swanton Morley this weekend. A stunning set of designs. There were lots of other contributions but for this post we just wanted to acknowledge what the Members of Norwich Group of Flower clubs had done. Other photos of exhibits will follow.

Jacquie Aldous, Chairman of the Group, did a brilliant job of organising the whole thing and we hope she's got her feet up this evening. Well done Jacquie, we're all very proud of what you've achieved this weekend.
