Thank you and Goodbye ❤❤❤❤
Hi I'm Athena, and I have been running Love Dereham for the last 4 years, but I have a new job and this is my last week. It's been a wonderful privilege and blessing to support so many people in our town and to work alongside our fabulous, hardworking volunteers and local partners. I will always fondly remember what we all achieved together for our community 🥰
A message from the Love Dereham trustee board:

We are writing to you all to let you know of some significant changes that are happening within the structure of Love Dereham.
As you know, Athena will be leaving us and we are sure you will join us in wishing her every happiness and blessings in her new role.

There have also been some changes to the Trustee Board with a new group of trustees voted in recently. You may know some of us from volunteering at either the Community Fridge or the Community Lunch. We are stepping in as interim trustees to ensure that there is continuity in the running of the Community Fridge, Let's Chat and the Community Lunch.

Initially, we are not looking to recruit someone to take Athena's place, so the other LD projects (Emergency Food Parcels, Warm Places Timetable, Lidl Christmas Toy Scheme and 1:1 work with service users) won't be continuing.

Please feel free to contact the new trustees and you can do that through this email: [email protected]

Thank you all again

We look forward to working with you all

God Bless,

Love Dereham Trustees

Crisis and Resilience Service
Every Tuesday, 9:30am–12:30pm at Dereham Library

The Crisis and Resilience Service (CRS) will be at the library every Tuesday, offering friendly support to people experiencing financial hardship.

The service can provide advice and support with things such as food, energy and heating costs, essential household items, clothing, transport and digital essentials.

They can also help with budgeting, finding additional financial support and connecting you with other local advice and support services.

If you are 16 or over, live in Norfolk and are experiencing financial hardship, come along to find out more about the support available and how to apply.

No need to book – just drop in.
