🚂 Our final performance of the summer is coming up at the National Tramway Museum 🎺🎶

It’s been a fantastic season for Derby Hospitals Band celebrating 15 amazing years, and we’re looking forward to rounding it off in a rather fitting setting before we roll into the festive season! 🎄👀

Come and join us for some live music amongst the trams and help us finish summer 2026 on a high!

What a fantastic day we had yesterday! 🎶

It was a real pleasure to perform at Belper Gardens and see so many people enjoying the beautiful park. Thank you to everyone who stopped to listen and support us!

We're also incredibly grateful to Dave Whittle, who came along and captured some brilliant photos of the band. Here are just a few of our favourites for now... keep an eye on our page as we'll be sharing more over the coming weeks. 📸

Looking forward to an afternoon in the sunshine bringing our music to the good people of Belper 🥰

Reminder that Larks in the Park continues this afternoon, Sunday 2nd August with a performance from Derby Hospitals Band.

They will be performing between 2pm-4pm in the band stand at Belper River Gardens.

“The Band, (established in 2011) is made up of a mixture of NHS Staff and people who support it’s ethos. We perform approximately 6/7 concerts a year to raise funds for the Patient Charity. This money is used to provide a diverse range of items designed to ‘make the patient journey more comfortable’ and has included medical equipment, radios, settees and many other items. Each member covers their own expenses, hence 100% of all funds raised goes to the Charity. We aim to enjoy each others company, support each other in pursuit of musical excellence and raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.”

Belper Town Council encourages visitors to travel to its events in sustainable ways. Please consider walking, cycling or using public transport to get here, if you can.

This is the sixth of ten free events organised by Belper Town Council in the Belper River Gardens. There will be a musical performance each Sunday afternoon, from 2pm-4pm, until Sunday 30th August.

What a lovely day celebrating our band's 15th anniversary. We have been through so much over the years, but it was great to come together, friends old and new, to celebrate the amazing work DHB has completed over the years.
Heres to another 15 years and many more!

📢 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 📢

Due to the ongoing heat, Derby Hospitals Band has made the difficult decision to cancel our postponed Summer Showcase.

Rather than leaving the evening empty, we've decided to do something a little different. On what would have been our concert night, we're opening up our rehearsal for one night only!

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes? Or would you simply like to come along and enjoy listening to us rehearse? We'd love to see you.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to cancel our performance at Derbyshire Healthcare's Summer Fayre tomorrow.

We're really sorry to disappoint anyone who was planning to see us, but unfortunately some things are beyond our control.

If you were planning to attend, please do still go along and support our friends at Derbyshire Healthcare League of Friends – it sounds like it's going to be a fantastic day!

The good news is that DHB has its own Summer Showcase coming up later this month, so you won't have to miss us for too long! 🎶🎵
