🤠 WANTED: HOT DOGS! 🌭

Sheriff's orders! As you can see in the wanted poster our shelves are running a little low and we need the community’s help to track down some provisions.

We are currently on the lookout for tinned hot dogs to help replenish our stock levels at the Dartford Larder. They are a fantastic, quick, and hearty meal option for the families we support, but right now, our supplies are dwindling.

Can you help us round some up? If you're out doing your weekly shop and are able to pick up an extra tin (or two!), we would be incredibly grateful.

🎉 Dartford Larder is ONE YEAR OLD! 🎉

Can you believe it? This week, we are looking back on a truly incredible first year!

We had the most wonderful time celebrating our official 1st anniversary on Tuesday with plenty of cake, sandwiches, and amazing company. It was the perfect way to mark one whole year of serving Dartford! 🎂🥪

From the very beginning, our goal has been to ensure our local community has access to affordable food, as well as a helping hand and friendly advice through our drop-in sessions. We are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made together.

But we could not have done this alone. This week is as much a celebration of you as it is of us.

🤠 WANTED: EVERY CURRY SAUCE IN TOWN! 🤠

The Dartford Larder is on the hunt! As you can see in wanted poster, our cooking sauce shelves are looking a bit bare, and we need your help to track down all types of curry sauce.

Whether it's a fiery Jalfrezi, a classic Tikka Masala, a mild Korma, or a rich Rogan Josh—if it's a jar of curry sauce, it's officially on our most-wanted list! 🕵️‍♂️

If you are doing your weekly shop and can spare an extra jar or two, your donation will make a wonderful addition to the meals we provide for local families.

We are thrilled to unveil our brand new Dartford Larder Drop-Off Boxes, and the momentum is already building! 📦💙

We are absolutely excited to announce that Pandora, located in the Lower Mall of the Bluewater Shopping Centre, has already claimed their box! It’s headed straight for their staff room to make donating seamless and easy for their incredible team. 💍✨

By hosting one of these boxes at your business, you can make it incredibly easy for your team and customers to support the Dartford Larder. A small contribution of non-perishable food items goes a very long way in supporting families right here in our local area.

We’ve made the process completely hassle-free:

We support around 140 people every week with essential food and hygiene products, but right now, our shelves are running low.

We are looking for local businesses who are passionate about our community to help us by:

🧁 Hosting an Event: From a cake sale to a dress-down day or a raffle—your fun initiatives can raise vital funds and products.

As you can see from our latest "WANTED" poster our shelves are running a bit low on a community favorite. We are on a mission to replenish our stock levels at the Dartford Larder, and we need some local heroes to help us save the day! 🦸‍♂️✨

Can you be a superhero and help us replenish our shelves?

While the Creamy Tomato & Herb sauce pictured is a massive hit, our community supermarket welcomes all varieties of pasta bake sauces. Whether it's a classic red, a rich cheese sauce, or something with a bit of a kick, our members appreciate the variety.

🛒 What we are looking for:
Tomato-Based: Tomato & Herb, Spicy Tomato, Tomato & Garlic, Mediterranean Vegetable
Creamy & Cheesy: Creamy Tomato, Three Cheese, Macaroni Cheese sauce, Carbonara
Any brand or supermarket own-brand is incredibly welcome!

No cape required—just an extra jar or two popped into your trolley during your weekly shop! Every single donation makes a massive difference to local families visiting our community supermarket.

Last week, the wonderful team at Moss Electrical kindly organised a food collection and delivered this amazing collection of cupboard essentials to us here at The Dartford Larder.

As a community larder, we rely heavily on non-perishable goods like pasta, tinned soups, rice, and sauces to help support local individuals and families. This generous donation will go a long way in keeping our shelves stocked and helping those who need it most.
