We're proud to award a £15,000 grant to Oakleaf to support their Children and Young Persons Service.

This funding will help young people up to the age of 25 access vital one-to-one and group counselling as they navigate grief and loss - giving them a safe space to be heard, supported and understood they need it most.

Just over a week on from the York 10K, we’re delighted to share the inspiring story of Tony and Sue from Weston-super-Mare 👏

Having admired Jane's incredible achievements, they were inspired to continue running themselves and take on new challenges.

Since then, they’ve gone on to complete marathons, 10-mile races and numerous 10Ks, while making fantastic donations to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal along the way.

The Sam White Legacy supports children, young people, and families affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.

Through the Big Charity Giveaway, we are proud to fund their Respite Breaks and Family Support project – giving families precious time together between treatments, creating lasting memories beyond hospital life, and providing vital financial support, while also contributing to important research. 💙

Another project supported by the Big Charity Giveaway is Umbrella’s Play, Activities and Leisure programme, offering exciting and stimulating opportunities for around 480 disabled and neurodiverse children across Derbyshire.

This funding will help tackle inequalities in access to clubs and activities, ensuring every child has the chance to take part and thrive.

Our OWLS (Overcoming Worry, Loss and Sadness) bereavement service offers practical and emotional support, 1-2-1 therapy and peer activity days for children aged 4-11 in the Leeds area, delivered in partnership with Child Bereavement UK

Flourishing Families is a community charity empowering vulnerable children and families across deprived areas of Leeds to thrive and overcome the challenges of poverty.

Thanks to our grant from the Big Charity Giveaway, their Inside Out Bereavement Support Programme will continue to provide vital support to children facing acute wellbeing challenges – helping them navigate loss while living in deprivation.
