🎭🪿 THINKING OF AUDITIONING FOR MOTHER GOOSED THIS SUNDAY? 🪿🎭

Wondering what you need to prepare? Panicking about learning a monologue? Trying to work out which character voice you're going to use?

DON'T! 😄

We want our Mother Goosed auditions to be fun, relaxed and a chance for us to get to know YOU.

🎭 NO SCENES TO PREPARE

Audition material will be provided on the day. We'll be workshopping scenes from the show together, so there's no need to learn a monologue or arrive knowing exactly which character you want to play.

🎤 DO PREPARE A SONG

Choose any song you like — something you're comfortable singing and that lets us hear your voice and see your personality.

The Director may also ask you to try something different on the day, so come ready to have a go!

⭐ MOST IMPORTANTLY… BE YOURSELF!

We're not looking for you to arrive having already created the character you think we want.

Don't be the character. Be YOU.

We want to see your personality, your energy, your sense of humour and what you could bring to the company. The character can come later!

❤️ AND IF YOU'RE CAST…

Everyone joining the production will need to become a member of LX Infinity before rehearsals begin at the end of September.

We’re casting our December adult pantomime and there are opportunities to act, sing, dance, make people laugh and generally behave in ways that would get you thrown out of a respectable theatre.

Fairy tales are about to get completely GOOSED…

Wishy Washy is fed up with being the lovable loser. While everyone else gets the princess, the glory and the happily-ever-after, they’re left doing the chores.

Then they discover THE PANTONOMICON — the magical book containing every pantomime ever written.

And Wishy has an idea…

😈 WHY NOT REWRITE THE RULES?

Suddenly Wishy is King, the stories we all know start going spectacularly wrong, Pantoland descends into chaos — and some very familiar villains might just have to become the heroes!

And THIS SUNDAY, we’re looking for the performers to bring this utterly ridiculous world to life! 🎭

Whether you fancy yourself as a dastardly villain, a larger-than-life panto character, a fairy-tale favourite or just want to come along and discover which role might suit you — we want to meet you.
