Didn't manage to get all 14 members all together at the same time for a photo so here are 2 of them outside Towneley Hall in Burnley yesterday.
Our monthly social outing was a guided tour of the recently refurbished Hall. Thank you to Carol who was our guide and added lots of personal...& amusing...tales of Towneley, from her many years of employment.
We were able to 'picnic' indoors due to weather conditions. The members would highly recommend a visit to the stunning Towneley Hall and gardens.

The NFWI are joining forces with over 130 charities this May for A Million Acts of Hope. From 13th to 20th May as part of a Week of Hope, they will be working with our members and their communities to send a simple message: hope happens here πŸ’›
Will you join us and sign the Biggest Ever Thank You card to the people across the UK who all make Britain brighter?

In May 2026, community and faith groups, plus charities big and small, will come together to celebrate and inspire A Million Acts of Hope across Britain. There is far more that connects us than divides us.
