M3 Project

M3 Project Both offer support to build skills and move to independent living. M3 believes every young person deserves a safe place to call home.

M3 Project offers Supported Lodgings for 16–21s in home-based settings with volunteer host providers, and a Teenage Family Project with furnished homes for young parents. We provide accommodation and advice for young people together with a listening service for those experiencing difficulties at home.

πŸ”” FEEDBACK πŸ””

Dawn & Chantelle were out in the community recently when a person recognised us, he was a user of M3 Supported Lodgings over 15 years ago, and he wanted to express his gratitude for the support we offered him as a service user! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

β€œM3 was a huge help to me at a time when I was facing homelessness and had nowhere else to turn. I was referred through the local housing office and that’s how I first came into contact with the service. I met Dawn, my support worker, who supported me every step of the way. She helped me complete forms and apply for my first job at Morrisons, which was a major turning point in my life.

Dawn also helped me find housing and move into my own place. She provided essential furniture, including a TV stand and drawers, and even helped transport everything to my new home. Her support gave me the stability I needed and helped me get my life back on track.

Thank you, M3. I will never forget the support I received. It has played a significant part in shaping the person I am today, and the advice and guidance I was given continue to help me in my life.”

Meet Gemma

For almost three years, Gemma has been a valued member of the Teenage Family Project, bringing warmth, positivity, and an infectious energy to the team. Her bubbly personality and genuine passion for people help create meaningful connections with the young people and families she supports every day.

With over 10 years of experience as a support worker, Gemma has dedicated her career to helping others navigate life's challenges and build brighter futures. Before joining the social care sector, she enjoyed a successful 12-year career in beauty therapy before making a bold career change to pursue her passion for understanding people, earning a degree in Criminology and Sociology.

"I've always been fascinated by people and what shapes their lives and experiences. Whether through meaningful conversations or continued learning, I love building connections and supporting others to recognise their strengths and potential."

Gemma believes that compassion, understanding, and positive relationships are at the heart of effective support. Her curiosity about human behaviour and her approachable nature enable her to build trust and encourage young people to grow in confidence.

Outside of work, Gemma enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing, fashion, and home decorating. She is a passionate music lover and an avid reader, and treasures spending quality time with friends and family. Happily married with two grown-up children, she brings the same warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her role at M3.

Gemma is proud to be part of the M3 team and is committed to helping young people feel heard, supported, and empowered to create positive futures for themselves and their families.

Thank you for supporting M3 Project β€” together we are changing lives.

We are always looking for Supported Lodgings hosts with a spare room to support young people in our community. To find out more, call 01706 216600.

Meet Emma πŸ’œ
Emma has dedicated the past 11 years to supporting families through our Teenage Family Project, helping vulnerable young women and their children build brighter, more positive futures.

She is passionate about empowering young mothers, advocating for the wellbeing of families, and creating opportunities through early support. Throughout her career, Emma has been committed to building positive relationships, helping families navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

πŸ’¬ β€œWhat makes me most proud is seeing the young people I support happy and safe in their homes, growing in confidence, and flourishing as they build positive futures for themselves and their children.”

Emma believes in standing up for those whose voices are often unheard and brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to everything she does.

Outside of work, Emma is a proud mum of fiveβ€”three adult children and two under the age of sevenβ€”so family is at the heart of everything she does. She loves attending festivals and live music events 🎢, expressing her creativity through art 🎨, taking on DIY projects πŸ”¨, and making memories with her loved ones.

Emma is proud to be part of the M3 team and values the support, dedication, and friendship of her colleagues. Her love of music, creativity, community, and family is reflected in the enthusiasm, warmth, and commitment she brings to her work every single day.

πŸ’œ Thank you for supporting M3 Project β€” together we are changing lives.

We are always looking for Supported Lodgings hosts with a spare room to support young people in our community. To find out more, call 01706 216600.
