M3 Project

Both offer support to build skills and move to independent living. M3 believes every young person deserves a safe place to call home.

M3 Project offers Supported Lodgings for 16–21s in home-based settings with volunteer host providers, and a Teenage Family Project with furnished homes for young parents. We provide accommodation and advice for young people together with a listening service for those experiencing difficulties at home.

M3 Project is looking for a Charity Officer (Business & Finance) to join our team 👇

📍 Location: Rossendale (Rawtenstall) M3 Project
⏰ Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible)
💷 Pay: £14 per hour
💷 Salary: £11,675 per annum (based on 16 hours per week)
(Full-time equivalent: £27,000 per annum / £14.00 per hour)

M3 Project is a local charity supporting young people who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. We’re a small, supportive team making a real difference in the community ❤️

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Organised and reliable
✅ Experienced in administration or finance
✅ Comfortable using systems like Excel (Xero, Sage, Etc)
✅ Interested in meaningful charity work that supports young people

💙 Meet Chantelle ✨

At just 16 years old, Chantelle came to our Supported Lodgings service looking for support and stability during a difficult time in her life 🏡

She returned again at 19 but this time, determined to give back to the service that once helped her 💛

Chantelle first joined M3 as a volunteer before officially becoming part of the team in 2019 👏

✨ “My team at M3 are like family to me, and I’m so proud to work for this much needed service.” ✨

Over the years, Chantelle spent 5 years leading our Listening & Wellbeing Service and now supports young people directly as a Support Worker 💙

Using her own lived experience, she helps young people facing homelessness feel understood, supported and hopeful for the future ✨

Outside of work, Chantelle enjoys spending time with loved ones, yoga classes 🧘‍♀️, cooking 🍴, relaxing at home, and treating herself to a caramel latte ☕️😊

💙 Meet Mathew 💙

From joining M3 Project in 2010 through the Future Jobs Fund, to becoming Registered Service Manager in 2025 — Mathew has spent 15 years helping support young people across Emergency Lodgings, Move On and Supported Lodgings 🏡

Having experienced homelessness himself for a short time, Mathew knows just how powerful the right support can be at the right time 🏠💙

✨ “I’m proud to work with such a fun, supportive and caring team.” ✨

When he’s not at work, you’ll find him enjoying family time 👨‍👩‍👦, playing darts 🎯, relaxing, and enjoying a good cup of tea with two sugars ☕️😊

And nothing beats hearing:
