βš½οΈπŸ’™ U16s Girls - Tournament Update πŸ’™βš½οΈ

What a day at the Crediton Youth Tournament!

Our girls gave absolutely everything in every single game, showing incredible determination and hard work from start to finish. We couldn't be prouder of the effort, attitude, and commitment they showed throughout the day.

We're delighted to say that we finished as Quarter Finalists! πŸ†πŸ‘

Our tournament journey came to an end in a hard-fought quarter-final against North Molton, with the winning goal coming in the final minute. While it's always tough to lose in those circumstances, the girls should hold their heads high after an outstanding tournament performance.

A huge well done to every player – you represented the club brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of what you've achieved today. πŸ’™βš½οΈ

⚽️ Cranbrook Girls U13s πŸ”œ U14s ⚽️

First season complete for our Cranbrook Girls U13s!
The commitment, hard work and development shown by every player has been amazing . Over the last 10 months we've played football in all sorts of conditions, enjoyed team-building activities including footgolf and ice skating, supported Exeter City Women together and most importantly grown as a team while seeing individual skills improve massively.
This was the first season of 11-a-side football for all of our players, and for some it was their very first experience of playing football . As the team formed shortly before the season started our first ever match together was to go straight into competitive league football with a small squad which made for a difficult start . We have grown to a squad of 14 players , celebrated our end-of-season awards at Exeter City's St James Park and recently competed in our first tournament.
It's been a real pleasure watching the girls develop both as footballers and as teammates and we're excited to continue training over the next three months ahead of our second season.

A huge thank you to our first sponsor, Enviro-TEC SW Ltd, and we can't wait to wear our new kit soon! 😁

πŸ“’ We're now recruiting for the 2026/27 season!
As we move up to U14s in September, we're looking for several more players to complete our squad.
For any girl going into Year 8 or Year 9 this September, we'd love to invite her along to some free taster sessions over the coming months.

πŸ“ Training: Fridays, 6pm–7pmπŸ“ Venue: Cranbrook Education Campus (Astro or grass pitches)⚽ Matches: Sundays, 10:30am

Great day and great to see so many girls teams at all different age groups !

Amazing effort by the Cranbrook girlsβ˜€οΈβš½οΈ.

Some great saves , solid defending and some great goals .
Started with a loss but then two draws , a win , another draw and then another win to get into the plate final.
1-1 after normal time and lost in extra time to an unlucky golden goal .

Back to training through June and Feniton tournament in July ⚽️⚽️⚽️
