The Parkhouse Award The Parkhouse Award is an international biennial chamber music competition based in the UK inviting piano trios only to apply for the 2027 competition

The prize is three concerts in the UK, usually two in London and one in Manchester, fully publicised in print, online and social media to present winners to the widest possible audience.

Tonight the Davidoff Trio will be taking part in a performance of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet No 2 in A Op 81 at the North York Moors Chamber Music Festival. Also programmed are works by Schumann, Bartók, Janáček and the World Premiere of Flower Variations by Thomas Adès - an exhilarating evening!

The North York Moors Festival continues until Saturday 22 August (not 15/8 as in our previous post)

Last night our 2025 winning ensemble the Davidoff Trio opened ‘Creation’ - the inspiring programme devised by North York Moors Chamber Music Festival for 2026 - with a brilliant performance of Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op 1 No 1. This uniquely exciting festival runs until 15 August and we are thrilled to support it.

We are excited to be visiting Shaldon Festival of Music for the Trio Bohémo concert on Thursday 18 June at 7.30pm. They will bring their magic to piano trios by Martinu, Yusupov and Mendelssohn.
