Thank you Robbie Butler MLA for taking the time to visit Horizon House 💜❤️

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the newly appointed Health Minister, Robbie Butler MLA, to NI Children’s Hospice. 💜

During his visit to Horizon House, the Minister had the opportunity to meet some of the incredible children and families we are privileged to support, as well as the dedicated members of our care team who provide specialist care with compassion, kindness and commitment every day. 🤗

He also took a tour of our Children’s Hospice Inpatient Unit alongside NI Hospice Chief Executive Trevor McCartney, Chair Ian Sheppard, Chief Care Officer Gemma Aspinall and Head of Children’s Hospice Grace Stewart.

The visit provided an important opportunity to share more about the vital role that Children’s Hospice plays in the lives of babies, children, young people and their families across Northern Ireland – and to highlight the ongoing need for sustainable, recurrent statutory funding for these essential services. Every child deserves the very best care, and every family deserves support when they need it most. 🤗

Thank you, Minister Butler, for taking the time to visit, listen and learn more about the difference our amazing staff and services make every day. 👏
