Nearly 14 Years of Smiles at Horizon House 💜

Colin has been attending respite at Horizon House since he was just 15 months old, and nearly 14 years later, he still looks forward to every visit.

Known affectionately by Colin as "Horizon Hotel", it's a place filled with lots of fun and somewhere he has everyone wrapped around his wee finger!

For Colin's family, Children's Hospice is about so much more than specialist care. It provides valuable time to rest, recharge and take a break, knowing Colin is safe, happy and having the best time.

This Children's Hospice Week, we're sharing stories like Colin's to highlight the difference your support makes. By helping us Turn June Purple, you're helping ensure local children and families can continue to access the care, respite and support they rely on.

WALK THE RINKS TOTAL….

£1,457.50 raised in memory of Noah, which is brilliant 🥳

I want to sincerely thank each and every person who supported Walk The Rinks from developing the idea, to walking the miles, sharing encouraging words and also making financial donations. I am so very grateful for your generosity and I know Northern Ireland Children's Hospice will be as well 💜

This nearly year long challenge was something different for me from a fundraising perspective - always good to try something new and think outside the box 🙂

Walk The Rinks allowed me the opportunity to keep Children’s Hospice in the forefront of people’s mind and to keep those important conversations going❣️

Thank you again!

Madison ❤️

Great to meet with so many of the young work experience pupils up at Stormont and to see such a good interest in politics from the up and coming generation!

This brilliant young lady is an ambassador for the Children’s hospice and it was good to hear about all her hard work fundraising - now over £100k. Wow! Amazing Madison!👏👏🩷

Great to see you today Phillip Brett MLA - I’ve heard you speak passionately about your pride of having Northern Ireland Children's Hospice in your constituency. It’s a wonderful place where families can make memories & spend quality time together. Thank you for your valued support of NICH 💜❤️

Great to meet Madison Wright, NI Children's Hospice Youth Ambassador earlier today at Stormont.

Madison has done amazing work in a short few years promoting the hospice and raising thousands to support its services.

I am very proud to have such an amazing Centre in my constituency which helps young children and their families from across Northern Ireland.

Please give Madison’s page a follow on Facebook to support her work!

"The hospice team have truly been our saving grace throughout this journey." 💜

Lottie has a rare genetic condition called TUBA1A mutation and Lissencephaly Type 3. After many long months in hospital, Lottie, her parents Chelsea and Ben, and sisters Lily-Beth and Evie were finally able to spend precious time together as a family at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice before bringing her home.

During their stay, they made memories they will cherish forever, including Lottie's very first swim in the hospice pool.

"The care, compassion and love they show our whole family means more than words could ever express."

This Purple Month, we're asking you to help us continue creating precious moments like these for local families.

Whether you take part in the Purple Dash, host a fundraiser, wear purple, or make a donation, every pound raised helps us provide vital care and support to children like Lottie and their families.

Join us and help Turn June Purple 💜

Thank you Cheryl Brownlee MLA & Emma Little-Pengelly MLA for inviting me to Parliament Buildings today as part of Children’s Hospice Week. An important part of my role as Youth Ambassador is to encourage conversations about children’s hospice services in our community and it was great to be able to engage in those discussions with you both 💜❤️

What a privilege it was to welcome to Madison Wright, NI Children's Hospice Youth Ambassador alongside Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly MLA during Hospice Care Week. 💜

Madison has been nothing short of inspirational over the past six years, raising an incredible £100,000+ for the Children’s Hospice. 👏

As someone from Carrickfergus, I couldn’t be prouder of everything Madison has achieved. She is a fantastic ambassador for both our town and such an amazing cause. 💪

I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next! 🌟

"Children's Hospice is more than a place of care - it's an extension of family. 💜

For Ana-Lily, it’s a place filled with friendship, laughter and moments of pure joy - like this precious memory of her enjoying the goats in the garden at Horizon House.

This Children's Hospice Week, we're asking you to help us Turn June Purple and ensure more local children and families can continue to access these precious moments.

Every donation, fundraiser, purple outfit and Purple Dash participant helps us provide specialist care, support and joyful experiences for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Northern Ireland.
