Our School Ready Stay & Play programme offers a welcoming space where children can learn through play, grow in confidence and practise important skills for starting school, while parents have the chance to connect with others.

🍁🍂 Our children have been very busy creating this beautiful autumn display. We have painted pumpkins, autumn trees and leaves.

🎨Children have the freedom to complete their own child-led creations! This is important as children learn through exploring, experimenting and expressing themselves through colours.

✍️Painting and drawing is beneficial to promote fine motor skill development, using brushes and pens to strengthen hand muscles!

Today we welcomed Josephine from Women's Aid to our Carrickfergus office to deliver an incredibly informative Empowering People training session for our staff and volunteers.

💜 Domestic abuse is an important issue we encounter through our family support work, and we're committed to ensuring our team has the knowledge and confidence to recognise the signs, respond safely and support families with compassion.

If you’re considering pre-school education for your child in September 2027, the Education Authority (EA) wants you to be aware of a number of changes to the process for applying 📢

The aim of the Pre-School Education Programme is to provide one year of high quality, funded pre-school education, for every child whose parents want it.

It isn’t compulsory and parents can apply if they want to, by listing in their order of preference, the pre-school settings to which they would be happy to send their child to.

Further information on the procedure for pre-school admissions will be shared with parents, schools and settings in coming weeks.
