Little Miss Sine has done an amazing donation so far.

For her 13th Birthday she will wave goodbye to her twin sister and head to London to run the Mini London Marathon on the 25th April.

She wiill be joined by other young talented athletes who recently qualified in the Ulster Schools X-Country championships. This is going to be an amazing experience, she is so scared, nervous and excited all at the same time.

She wanted to raise money for Megan's Wish.

Sine cannot imagine not being able to run, it is when she is at her happiest. Her dream is one day competing in the Olympics with her sister, and she hope other children can have dreams like these too.

Good luck Sine and thank you for your very kind donation. Its also been an honour to send you some sponsorship for new gear which you may need.

To date this lil woman has raised £1,200

Good luck from all of us and we will be cheering you on.

Trustee Recruitment Notice

After nine successful years of operation, our Northern Ireland–based registered charity is seeking to appoint new Trustees to lead the organisation into its next phase of development.

Over the past decade, the charity has supported hundreds of children and families across Northern Ireland. Through fundraising initiatives, community events, and direct engagement with families, we have provided both practical and emotional support to those who need it most.

We are proud of the impact achieved to date and are committed to ensuring the charity continues to grow sustainably.

As a registered charity, the role of Trustee carries legal and governance responsibilities, including:

◇ Ensuring compliance with charity law and regulatory requirements
◇ Strategic planning and organisational oversight
◇ Financial governance and accountability
◇ Safeguarding and risk management
◇ Supporting fundraising and community engagement initiatives

Our current Board members have served with dedication; however, as their children are now grown, they feel it is appropriate to invite new Trustees who may bring current lived experience, fresh perspective, and renewed energy to the organisation.

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who:

♡ Are passionate about supporting children and families in Northern Ireland
♡ Understand (or are willing to learn) the responsibilities of charity trusteeship
♡ Can contribute time to governance meetings and strategic planning
♡ Bring skills in areas such as finance, education, health, communications, fundraising, or community development
♡ Previous trustee experience is beneficial but not essential.
♡ Commitment, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a difference are paramount.

This is an opportunity to take forward a well-established charity with a strong foundation and meaningful community impact.

To express interest or request further information about the trustee role, please contact us.

We would like to put on record a huge thank you to our Board espically Lesley McIlveen Cole, Leigh Park, Brenda Scott and also Aspire2Achieve - Bespoke Services Ltd the guidance, the ideas and most importantly the support for the vision of the charity and for helping to assist in getting us to the point where we are today.

Thank you to every company and ever person who has and hopefully will continue to fundraise for a charity that is needed within NI.

Hi everyone! I’ve decided to carry Curvature into my final year of studying photography at Ulster University, as it’s by far the project I’m most proud of and one that’s gone the furthest for me. For anyone new here, Curvature is my ongoing photo series that I created from my own experience with scoliosis that explores body image and beauty, aiming to help with insecurities and show that no matter how your spine curves, you are and always will be beautiful. So far, the project has been exhibited in Musgrave Park Hospital’s Children’s Ward, featured in a temporary gallery at Ulster University during a body positivity event attended by the Chinese ambassador, and included in a photobook and advertising for a fashion show this year.

As I continue developing the project, I’m looking to move beyond the studio and start exploring locations like beaches, forests, or anywhere that holds emotional significance. I’d also love to bring in some elements of fashion photography, as this has been suggested as a natural progression for the series by my lecturer. I now have my driver’s licence, so travel isn’t an issue and I’m more than happy to collect you, bring you to the shoot location, and take you home again. I always try to tailor each shoot to reflect something personal about your scoliosis journey.

If you have a story or a location that holds meaning to you, I’d love to include that in your photos. For one of the major images in the project, I’m hoping to create a group photo featuring four to five people with scoliosis holding hands or with arms around each other to visually represent the strength and support within our community. I was inspired by the beautiful community-focused images I’ve seen shared by people like Megan’s Wish. If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please feel free to get in touch!

One more thing is that these photoshoot will most likely not be happening until October however I wanted to bring attention to this early so I can plan well and keep track of it :)
