Seventeen Carrickfergus ladies enjoyed afternoon tea at Mossley Institute's fundraiser this week. Delicious fare and good company - wonderful way to spend a Monday afternoon! A ballot, quiz and prizes, as well as a sales table to tempt us with foxgloves and sunflowers ready to plant out plus many bargains.
A big thank you to Mossley ladies for hosting a great afternoon!

Carrickfergus W.I. were delighted to welcome Marion Fisher as their new President for the incoming year 2026/27. Elizabeth McKinty, Inver Area Executive chaired the AGM at Carrick's May meeting.
Margaret and Vicky shared the Competition Cup drawing on points at our monthly competitions; and Pamela was presented with the Friendship Cup this year. Well done everyone!
New WI members are always welcome. Message if you're interested in hearing more about our new programme starting September 2026, or activities over the summer.

With Jenny's guidance Carrickfergus W.I. ladies tried little needlecases and Andrea demonstrated gel printing and layering.

Knockagh Area Institutes met together for their annual Spring Meeting yesterday evening ... excellent speakers from Killymoon entertained us with life in the Castle as a maid and an American GI, humorous and thought provoking. Supper and lots of chat followed.
Well done to everyone entering the many Area and WINI Competitions!
Congratulations to Carrickfergus W.I. three first prize winners:
