What. An. Event!

The Welsh Big Curry 2026 has officially landed - and what a way to kick things off! Friday at Maindy Barracks was everything we hoped for and more. Amazing people, incredible atmosphere, and a cause so very worth celebrating.

This year we added something extra special - Urban Operations - Guests got a hands-on taste of what our soldiers train for in real world environments. Eye-opening, exhilarating, and a genuine insight into the skill, discipline, and courage it takes to serve. Safe to say it went down an absolute storm!

A massive THANK YOU to our brilliant partners who made it all possible:

157 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps - thank you for your time, your expertise, and for bringing the Urban Ops experience to life. You gave our guests something they won't forget in a hurry! Along with The Corps of Drums, RLC, who were outstanding.

Last night, our Ambassador Donna Purnell had the honour of speaking at the 14 Signal Regiment Charity Dinner held at Cawdor Barracks.

The evening brought together serving personnel, veterans, families and supporters to raise awareness and vital funds for charities supporting mental health and wellbeing within the military community, including the Army Benevolent Fund.

Events like this are incredibly important in helping to break down barriers around mental health, encouraging conversations, and ensuring that those who serve — and have served — know that support is always available.

A huge thank you to 14 Signal Regiment, the organisers, sponsors and everyone who attended and donated so generously. Together, we continue to make a positive difference to the lives of soldiers, veterans and their families.
