Our upcoming Café Evening – Monday 15th June - 6:30–8:30 pm
This month’s topic is ‘Living with Dementia’, presented by the wonderful Fay Freemantle. Fay brings a wealth of experience from her many roles within the dementia field, offering insight, understanding, and practical guidance for families, carers, and anyone affected by dementia.

It promises to be an engaging and supportive evening, and we look forward to welcoming you.

Our upcoming Café Evening – Monday 18th May - 6:30–8:30 pm

This month’s topic is Grieving and Guilt, a gentle and important conversation for anyone affected by dementia.
We’re pleased to welcome Hilary Dyce as our guest speaker. Hilary brings deep experience in supporting families through the emotional challenges that often accompany a dementia journey, offering understanding, reassurance, and practical ways to cope.
It promises to be a thoughtful and supportive evening, and we look forward to welcoming you.

We’re pleased to share the poster for our upcoming Café evening. In a change to our regular programme, we’ll be welcoming representatives from Action for Carers and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
This session will offer practical guidance, support, and information for families, carers, and anyone affected by dementia. It’s a great opportunity to connect with local services, explore what help is available, and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly setting.

We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker for the upcoming Café evening will be Dr Gemma Jones.

Gemma is the joint‑founder of Alzheimer Café UK and a Trustee of our Farnborough Alzheimer Café,

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from someone whose insight, experience, and warmth have supported so many families and professionals over the years.

We had been nominated for an award by Voluntary Support North Surrey at the Surrey Heath Volunteer Awards 2025 in the category - Volunteer Team Award for our trustees. Unfortunately we were up against some fantastic charities and did not win, but received a certificate of nomination by the Surrey Health Mayor Cllr Louise Ashbury. Congratulations to our team of trustees who have worked tirelessly to keep the Camberley Alzheimer Café running since Chairperson Maureen Hume retired in the summer.
