Registration is now live for our last ever Operation Bletchley mission.

Starting on 1st January 2027, this mission will take you through Soviet territory. Decrypt vital intelligence about the blockade, crack codes as you go and help bring our stranded contacts back to HQ.

The Cateran Yomp is for everyone. Whether you're taking on the challenge with friends, family, colleagues or flying solo, it's an experience you'll never forget.

Craig, a seasoned Yomper, teamed up with his dad and brother to tackle the demanding 54-mile route across the Scottish countryside, and all three crossed the finish line together.

Craig's dad says:

"I can’t put into words how proud I am of us. What an achievement, 54 miles covered in an official time of 18 hours 30 minutes. We still have donations to add but we will have raised over £2,000 for charity. Well worth the effort!"

A big thank you to Aldershot Garrison for allowing the Army Benevolent Fund South East team to hold a charity cake sale in the St. Omer Dining Hall today! 🍰

It was great to see so many soldiers and staff pop by to grab a cake (or two!) and have a chat.

Huge thanks to Tesco Superstore and Gus from the Garrison for providing such a tempting selection of cakes for us to sell!

And of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us. 😊

A fantastic effort from the Officer Cadets of Burma Company at the The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, who are taking on multiple 3km Doko Races throughout the day, each carrying 15kg in their Dokos.

The officer cadet who achieves the fastest time will win a Khukuri - which is pretty cool!

All this work is to raise vital funds for 3 different charities, one being the Army Benevolent Fund.

Wishing everyone taking part the very best of luck, and a huge thank you for choosing to support ABF - we are so grateful!

What an absolute privilege to spend today at Worthy Down Camp, supporting the incredible soldiers taking part in the Worthy Down Backyard Challenge! 💚

There has been a fantastic turnout, with such wonderful support from spouses, children and camp staff, all coming together to play their part in this special fundraiser. From supplying cakes and drinks to offering encouragement and cheers.

Seeing the soldiers, their families and the wider military community come together in this way is the very embodiment of what our charity stands for:

A great weekend ahead at the We Have Ways Festival at Black Pit Brewery!

Our Buckinghamshire committee and some of our lovely volunteers are there representing the Army Benevolent Fund, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication, time and continued support. We simply couldn’t do what we do without people like them.

Another fantastic evening at the Army Benevolent Fund Battle of the Somme Anniversary Dinner at the The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst last night. Huge thanks as ever to RMAS and the Sandhurst Trust and to Terry Whenham (WWI historian and battlefield tour guide as well as a Podcaster - ). The RAMS played music throughout. To cap it off Thomas Forrester held the audience to bid for auction prizes very successfully.
