Please come along to the Scout Hall on Monday 21st Sept at 18.15 - 18.30 for the Groups AGM.

This is a relaxed and welcoming occasion where we’ll reflect on the year gone by, share what your children have been up to, and look ahead to new adventures. We’ll review the Group’s annual report, our financial year-end accounts, and elect or re-elect members of the Group Scout Council to the Trustee Board. It will only take around 20 minutes, and after that, the fun really begins!

We will have an activity for Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts and serve refreshments - there will be plenty of opportunities to join in, chat with other families, and celebrate all things Scouting.

We’d love to see you there—your support makes all the difference to our Scout Group, and together we can make the coming year even better for everyone.

Scouts are adventurous, capable, and full of ideas — and they thrive when adults are there to encourage them.

We’re looking for additional volunteers to support our Scout section, help run activities, supervise sessions, and keep the fun going. If you enjoy outdoor challenges, teamwork, or just supporting young people, you’ll fit right in.

Please contact [email protected] or ring 07762186127 for further details or if you are able to help.

Many thanks

If you enjoy working with young people and want to be part of something meaningful, this is your chance. Please contact [email protected] or ring 07762186127 if able to help. Many thanks

A massive thank you to everyone who supported us on Saturday! It was a long, hot 9-hour day, but your efforts raised an incredible £1,500 to keep our Scout Group, Hall, and minibus running for our children.

A special shout-out goes to Josh and his mum, who did a sterling job manning the cake stall all day—you are total superstars! 🌟 and the only one to attend.

Many that attended asked why there were not more of the Scouts and Cubs helping.

Looking ahead: Our fundraising committee is very small, and we cannot run these vital events alone. To keep providing these facilities, we really need more hands on deck. Please consider volunteering just an hour or two at our next event so we can share the load and keep the group thriving!
