Please help us at Calne Community Neighbourhood Plan by filling out this short survey to protect our green spaces from development.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 - 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧

Through the Neighbourhood Plan, we can protect green spaces with a designation called Local Green Spaces. Once a space is designated as Local Green Space, it has protection consistent with land in the green belt (i.e. protected from inappropriate development except for in ‘very special circumstances’).


The Steering Group have worked up a long list of potential Local Green Spaces (to add to the spaces already designated in the first Neighbourhood Plan). These green spaces have been identified through feedback from our community consultation earlier this year, and from the knowledge of the group of local people working on this topic.


Now we need to know what local people think, which areas you and the groups you represent value and are worth protecting.

If you prefer you can collect a paper copy and return to Bank House, The Strand, Calne, SN11 0EN (open 9.30-4pm Monday to Friday). Closing Date for completing the survey is 31st July 2022.
