The 52nd M62 Memorial Service for the soldiers and civilians killed by the Provisional IRA bomb on 04 Feb 1974 will be held on Sun 08 Feb 2026 at Hartshead Moor Services (Westbound) starting at 11:00.

we remember the brave souls who gave their lives in service to our nation. Your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedom will never be forgotten. You stood tall in the face of danger, carried the weight of duty with honor, and gave everything so that others could live in peace.

We live our lives in the light of the liberty you preserved, and we speak your names with gratitude and respect. Though you are gone, your legacy lives on — in our hearts, in our freedoms, and in the spirit of this great nation.

Rest easy, heroes. You are not forgotten, and you never will be.

Our total is now in, and it’s a big thank you to everyone who donated in any way to this years Poppy Appeal.

Bradford South have raised £21,523.99, a phenomenal effort in these times of squeezed budgets.

I’d like to extend a big thank you to all my volunteers who helped raise this money. Without you none of it would have happened.

10:30. Holy Trinity church

12:30. Low moor Cenotaph, Cleckheaton Road

14:00. Boer War memorial, Harold Park

It would be nice to see you at one of these services to remember the fallen.
