Writing or updating your Will doesn’t have to be complicated or costly. This October, you can do it for free and if you choose, you could also leave a legacy of hope that will keep changing lives long into the future. 💚🙌

A slightly different day at work for Stewart McCulloch, CAP Group CEO, and our Policy and Public Affairs team!

Last month, they swapped their usual work clothes for something a little smarter to attend the Lady Mayor’s Dinner at Lambeth Palace.

It was a valuable opportunity to speak with people in positions of influence about something we care deeply about: seeing an end to UK poverty.

We believe the Church has a vital part to play in tackling poverty, but we also know that lasting change needs to happen at every level, including the decisions made by those in government.

We’re so thankful for opportunities like this, where the experiences of people facing debt and poverty can help shape those important conversations.

Will you join us in praying? Pray that God would guide these conversations, open doors and help bring about real change for people living in debt and poverty across the UK. 🙏

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you ask for help.

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself you’ll ‘sort it’ for a while. You don’t have to do it on your own.

There’s a local church ready to walk alongside you. Expert debt help. A way forward that works for your situation.

When you’re ready, we’re here. 💚

What happens when a church stops waiting for the community to come through its doors and starts going out into the community?

We visit Braniel Church, Northern Ireland, to see how they are rethinking their approach to church outreach ministry, finding new ways to build relationships and connect with people in the heart of their local community.

Could your church do the same? Find out more about Church and Community Transformation below.

What is the purpose of the Church? Is it just somewhere we go on a Sunday, or something much deeper?

Nicole’s story shows what can happen when the Church steps beyond its four walls with hope, love and practical support.

Through local churches partnering with Christians Against Poverty, people facing debt and poverty are finding community, freedom and hope.

300km run. £3,000+ raised. 💚

A brilliant group of people took on a huge challenge, running a combined 300km to raise more than £3,000.

To put that into perspective, £3,000 could help around 17 families through a Debt Relief Order. Just one example of the kind of difference support like this can make.

For 30 years, we’ve seen what can happen when local churches come alongside people in their communities with practical help, hope and a friendly face when life feels overwhelming.

A huge thank you to everyone who ran, supported and donated. It’s such a brilliant reminder that every act of generosity can help make more of this work possible. 💚

30km walked. £4,154+ raised! 🥾✨

On Saturday, team took on the trek from Ilkley to Haworth, and what an achievement it was.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked, organised, donated and cheered them on along the way. 💚

There’s something really special about people coming together like this to help others, and we’re so grateful for every bit of support.

P.S. If you’re looking for a way to get involved with CAP too, fundraising is just one way. You can also pray for families facing financial crisis, or find out how your church could partner with us to support people in your local community.
