Poor Ellie's squishmallow teddy had too much love from her and will sadly need to go in the bin. We would love a donation of squishmallows or similar toys for her to pick her new favorite from!
Our reception is open 11am-3pm Thursdays to Tuesdays for donations, but we do also have a donation bin outside our main gates if for out of hours.

We’re proud to be taking part in Volunteers’ Week 2026 – marking 42 years of saying thank you to all volunteers across the UK for everything they do for society. ✨👏🤩

🌟Our kennel assistants help clean, tidy, make feeds and enrichment. Then our dog walkers take our rescue dogs for walks in the forest, playtime off lead and spend time socialising with the dogs helping them to relax and decompress away from kennels.

🌟Our laundry assistants face the never ending mountain of laundry from all of the animals on site, selflessly dedicating time to organising and ensuring all our animals onsite have fresh clean laundry.

🌟In the Cattery our volunteers help complete all the cleaning every morning, making sure the cat’s welfare needs are all met in a tidy and comfortable environment. Volunteers spend lots of time sat with our rescue cats to help them gain confidence and to make sure every cat has socialisation time every day.

🌟Our small animal support assistants help with the smooth running of our small animal unit. Committing time to clean, groom, handle and socialise with the small animals.

🌟Our reception and admin volunteers greet our visitors and offer help and support to anyone visiting the site and the reception staff.

🌟Volunteer Groomers will help keep our dogs looking their finest ready to meet their match!

🌟Our maintenance and gardening volunteers help make a difference to the appearance of the centre and keep the site looking tidy and well kept for our animals and visitors.

🌟Our photography volunteers take splendid photos of animals in preparation for finding them new homes, promoting on social media, and adding to their profiles.

🌟Volunteer drivers often spend hours of their day on the road collecting animals and getting them where they need to be.

🌟Our foster carers volunteer every day to look after animals in their own homes, whether that be a dog, cat, rabbit or small animal. Their commitment and compassion means animals without a home can experience loving foster homes.

Every minute of volunteering helps make a difference and for that we say THANK YOU!

Found Dog - Please contact us if you are missing this beautiful Dog - Is microchipped but not been registered... we are open sat 23rd but closed then until Tuesday 26th. A kind member of the public is taking care of the dog

During this year, we're hoping to get some pretty major upgrades done on the fabric of our Clinic - new heating system, bigger operating room etc.

It all takes money!

Our lovely Clinic, where we see your animals and help you keep them healthy and happy, needs some upgrading to the infrastructure. Your donations can help upgrade the heating system in the clinic

Thank you all who came along, took part and were involved in making the RSPCA Bournemouth Branch Quiz a resounding success!! We ran out of seating and raffle tickets!! Lots of money raised and a good time had by all - amazing 👏 🤩

Not sure how much we raised yet, but it’s likely to be in excess of £700!

Big shout out to Glen and Paul - fantastic Quizmaster duo! Glen's Charity Events. Thanks also to Kinson Conservative Club for providing the venue!

Also thanks to all the Trustees and prospective Trustees who came to support the event.
