THIS IS TONIGHT
FREE ENTRY

You don't need a ticket or even to register. Come along. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. All are really welcome.

Sarah Jones, the first person to be ordained in the Church of England having previously made a gender change, is bringing her tour, ‘Everyday Normal’. to the south coast. You're invited to join us at St Luke's Church, Winton, BH3 7LR on Wednesday 21 October. Doors open at 7pm with the evening starting at 7.30pm

The session will offer an entertaining exploration for those who would like to understand trans issues for themselves from someone who can speak from personal experience on the everyday reality of being trans.

In Sarah’s own words, “We'll think about the issues and the concerns of today and we'll look to the future to see what that might hold. We'll laugh together. We might cry.”

Tickets are free. There will be a pay bar to help towards the costs of the evening. Click here to register:

CONGRATULATIONS!

Both Alice and Mary have completed their Bishop's Commission for Mission in Pastoral Care. Whilst Mary wasn't able to make it, Alice was at Wi******er Cathedral yesterday to be commissioned. It was a great service of celebration of lay ministry with other BCMs being awarded as well as the licensing of Lay Ministers.

If you feel called to do a BCM or God calling you in any way, please speak with Renate or Michael.

At last week’s Deanery Synod we talked about Believing in Bournemouth, led by Bishop Rhiannon and Archdeacon Gemma. A very positive and positive meeting. You’ll hear more about Believing in Bournemouth in the next parish magazine in December!

AN AMAZING DAY!!!!!

Today, we gathered with our friends from Holy Epiphany Church to think and pray about where God might be leading us over the coming years. Led by Dave Bishop, Josh and Florrie we worshipped together, heard how we are loved by God and what the future might look like.

A huge ‘thank you’ to Martin and Ruth who helped with all the practicalities. Michael was going to take some pictures but he didn’t get round to it! Thank you to all who participated - we’ll be communicating the outcomes over the coming months.
