💜 Why Volunteer with Mosaic? 💜

There are so many reasons our volunteers choose to be part of the Mosaic family, but here are just a few:

✨ Use your time and skills to support bereaved children and young people across Dorset
✨ Be part of a welcoming and supportive team that cares deeply about making a difference
✨ Help create positive memories and opportunities for children navigating grief
✨ Gain valuable experience, confidence and new friendships along the way
✨ Know that every contribution, big or small, helps a child feel less alone

This Volunteers’ Week, could you make a difference in a child’s life?

We’re always looking for compassionate people to join our volunteer team. If you'd like to find out more, we'd love to hear from you.

President Virginia was recently joined by 18 members for a thoroughly pleasant lunch at The Ivy Bournemouth Brasserie.

Club members enjoyed a two‑course selection from the Heritage Menu, with the Shepherd’s Pie a firm favourite.

📢 Calling all captains, paddlers, and river explorers! 🌊🚣‍♂️

The 2026 Christchurch River Pageant is just around the corner on Saturday, 25th July, and we want YOU to be part of the fleet!

Whether you have a sleek kayak, a trusty canoe, a stand-up paddleboard, a dinghy, or you’re busy building a legendary homemade raft—your vessel belongs on the River Stour! We are warmly inviting everyone to join the procession and help us create an unforgettable spectacle for the town.

🎭 Feeling creative?
While fancy dress is completely optional, we’d love to see your best "Smugglers and Pirates" costumes to truly bring the theme to life! It’s all about having fun, celebrating our river, and supporting our amazing local charities.

Ready to join the parade?
It’s quick and easy to get involved. Simply head over to our official page to register your vessel:

New club member Tony Chapman made quite an impact on his recent visit to The Gambia, presenting £250 to the Gambian Cricket Association at the Banjul cricket ground. The donation - £100 from our club and £150 from Sunshine with Smiles - has funded trainers for 100 young student players, giving a real lift to grassroots cricket.

Tony, who serves on the club’s International Committee, travelled with his wife Jane, who shared in the experience and the hospitality of the local cricket community.
