It might not have been our highest scoring appearance ever (the screenshot of the scores is... selective!) but 7 of us made it out on Tuesday to put our quiz hats on at one of our fave locals.

A properly summer event - punting along the Cherwell on a glorious, golden evening. Well, apart from Caroline who opted for a rowing boat instead! 🚣‍♀️

We're still meeting twice a month despite the heat, with the Oxford Shakespeare festival this week, the pub quiz at The Angel on 11th August and (hopefully!) a joint event with our newly nearest Circle in Witney later in the month. Just drop us a line if you're like to come along and get involved!

Last week we held our AGM to vote on national issues (before the national AGM this weekend), elect our new committee (welcome to Laura as Chair and Jess as Vice!), give out our annual awards (Emma gets to look after Circo, the Circle dog as Circler of the Year, and Caroline gets the attendance cup), bang our ceremonial gavel a little bit, and remember friends locally, nationally and internationally, both with us and departed.
We also planned our calendar for the coming year, and our first 3 events are up on our page already.
