Next up we have Emma!
For Emma, part of the power of Circle is that we meet twice a month regardless, which solves those problems we all know of trying to find a time when *all* your friends can get together... which so often means that you never do. In her words (I couldn't fit them all in the picture), "If you can't go along to a Circle event, that's fine, but if you want to go, others will definitely be there!"
She also loves the volunteering we do. In Bicester that includes helping our local Round Table run a major fireworks display and the santa sleigh, as well as helping with front of house at our local charity panto.

We will no longer be karaoking this evening, but look forward singing out hearts out later in the year!

We're endlessly thankful to the Media Officer at Ladies Circle Great Britain and Ireland for providing social media templates that we can use, but BOY did they get the tagline right for this event for us 🤣

The karaoke room is private, none of us are very good at it, and we keep coming back because we end up HOWLING with laughter and feeling absolutely amazing by the end of the evening. It really is worth putting your nerves aside to come and join in!

We're just like you!
Many of us have found Circle after moving somewhere new, and wanting to make friends locally. We won't pretend otherwise - it's a bit nerve-wracking the first time you go along, but we're hoping to introduce you to a few of our members and their stories.
I'll go first, as I'm the one currently running our social media 😉

Last week we spent a fab evening at our great local games cafe, Noughts and Nibbles, nattering, noshing on amazing cake (the wonderful BrownieMacs supply them) and playing plenty of non-competitive (ahem) card games.

If you live in Bicester, make sure to visit both Noughts & Nibbles and BrownieMacs when you can - they're both fab, local businesses.
If you're a woman aged 18-45 and want to make friends, keep an eye on our page for future events.
And if you're a Circler anywhere, try a visit to your local games cafe!

Thanks to Witney Ladies Circle for a FABULOUS evening out the other week.
There were nerves, there were edible eyeballs, there were scary clowns, mirrors, UV lights, a limited amount of golf skill, loads of great chat, and a LOT of smiles.
We knew that Ladies Circle Great Britain and Ireland was great, but having a pretty close neighbour circle is an absolute joy, and we hope to see you again very soon!

Sleep is free, but at £6 a month membership of Bicester Ladies Circle is cheaper than most of the rest of these highly worthwhile things. Just saying 😉

It might not have been our highest scoring appearance ever (the screenshot of the scores is... selective!) but 7 of us made it out on Tuesday to put our quiz hats on at one of our fave locals.
Keep an eye on our facebook for upcoming events - there'll be something on or around 25th August, we're just finalising details - and think about coming to join us next time!
