Conventional vs. integrative is the wrong fight.
I’m a board-certified oncologist. I can prescribe chemotherapy protocols. I recommend surgery. I refer for radiation therapy. But I also use mistletoe therapy, herbal medicine, metabolic interventions, and IV nutrient therapy.
These aren’t in opposition. They serve different purposes. They work together.
The vets who reject integrative outright miss outcomes they could have improved. The “natural-only” crowd refusing chemo for treatable lymphoma — I’ve seen those dogs die when they didn’t have to.
My whole philosophy: And, not or. Conventional and integrative. Both, with intention.
