Between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, young people doing their DofE through Scouts in Oxfordshire gave an amazing 1079 hours of their time to help their communities.
That’s the equivalent of £8145 in social value! 💷💪

But volunteering is about so much more than numbers.

It’s about discovering new passions, growing in confidence, and learning skills that last a lifetime.

Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers

This week, we celebrate and thank the incredible volunteers who make Scouting possible in Oxfordshire.

From running weekly meetings and organising adventures to supporting events and working behind the scenes, our volunteers give their time, skills and enthusiasm to help young people gain Skills for Life.

🏆 Congratulations to everyone who received an award at Awards Day 2026! ⚜️

On Saturday, we celebrated the achievements of around 700 young people from across the county at Youlbury Scout Adventure.

Every award recognised dedication, adventure, leadership and the incredible impact Scouting has within our communities. We were so proud to recognise so many amazing achievements. 🌟

Thank you to all our volunteers, leaders and families for supporting young people on their Scouting journey.
