On Wednesday night we opened our Telford building to our young people, their parents, our wider SJA colleagues and members of the public for our Save A Life September event.

It was a great evening with quizzes, plenty of first aid demonstrations from our young people, a chance to talk about the work we do and meet some new faces! We even had a bake sale and were able to raise some money to continue funding our work locally 💚

Thank you so much to everyone who attended and made the evening a success.

Last Saturday volunteers from our Telford group attended Ash fest to provide first aid cover whilst watching local artists perform on stage!! 🎶🚑💚

📣📣We are pleased to announce on Wednesday 16th September we will be holding our annual Save A Life September event open to the public at our training building in Telford!! This will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn about first aid and the work we do, as well as how you can join. We hope to see you all there 🚑 🩺

Yesterday, volunteers Brett & Asher supported our colleagues from Shropshire West at the Rum and Reggae Festival in Shrewsbury for what turned out to be a busy event with a great atmosphere! 💚

Yet another busy week within Shropshire East Network! We've been at the annual Ketley Carnival and also Harperdasher Adams House Athletics.

What a very busy and hot weekend it's been for our Shropshire East Network volunteers! Our Telford session volunteers have been at a local food festival, while our Bridgnorth session volunteers have been at the annual Classic Motor day.

It's been yet another busy week for our volunteers right across our Shropshire East Network! St John Ambulance Market Drayton started the week with community engagement at Grove School and then attended Hollinswood Primary School. To finish the week we've also been at Allscott Meads Family fun day.

WHAT A WEEK!! Volunteers right across our Shropshire East Network have had an incredible week supporting our communities.

From community engagement at Bridgnorth Crucial Crew, Event delivery in Bridgnorth & Telford in addition to supporting our neighbouring Shropshire West Network volunteers at Shrewsbury and finally attending The Twenty-Sixth General Assembly in London.

An incredible week of volunteering had by all!!

For the whole week, our network has had the privilege of being invited to talk on vital lifesaving techniques at the annual Bridgnorth & South Shropshire Crucial crew!

The aim is to raise awareness of issues which might affect their health or wellbeing, including circumstances where they or others may be exposed to danger.
