Supporting the voluntary sector and community of Castle Point and across Essex. Our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

CAVS is a support and development agency for voluntary and community groups in Castle Point. We can assist with a number of issues including funding and volunteers. CAVS also run a number of frontline community projects including Children's Centres, Community Activity Project and Be Safer Project. Visit the CAVS web pages for more details.

And .. we’re looking forward to hosting our Community Information & Networking event on the 26th November at the Centre.

Come along and see us, and CAVS Membership organisations.. we’re on hand to offer advice and help to Canvey residents. 09.00-15.00.

Winter warmth is very much on our minds and at our special event on November 26th, held at the Knightswick Shopping Centre we will be making sure local residents benefit from our fabulous free 'give-aways', to help keep you warm.

It's an event not to be missed, as lots of CAVS Membership organistions will be present and available to talk with you on the day, experts in their own fields, so if you need help and advice it will be there on the Canvey doorstep.

Tell your friends and family too, to come along and find out more. And if you're interested in volunteering with CAVS, then we have some great roles available.

CELEBRATING ANN - AND 12 YEARS OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERING!

We were delighted to welcome our wonderful volunteer Ann into the CAVS office today! ❤️

We were delighted to present Ann with an award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to CAVS Befriending Service, celebrating an incredible 12 years of dedication to helping others. 🏆👏

Our befriending volunteers make such a difference to the lives of local people, offering friendship, companionship and a listening ear to those who may otherwise feel lonely or isolated.

A huge congratulations to Ann, and a heartfelt thank you for 12 years of kindness, commitment and making a real difference in our community. 💕

We’re so proud to have you as part of the CAVS family!

TIME TO SAY A BIG THANKS FOR THOSE SUPPORTING CAVS AMAZON WISH LIST, HELPING TO BRING SMILES TO LOTS OF LOCAL CHILDREN

Nicky, Diane, Phoebe and other special people, thank you for your kindness in supporting this wonderful cause, we are truly grateful.

CAVS Amazon Wish List is full of activity packs and fidget toys, which are fantastic items for the children, young people and families that we support. 🎨🧩

The fidget packs will be given directly to children throughout their time with CAVS Family Mentoring Team, giving them something positive, engaging and enjoyable to use at home.

Our Family Mentoring Team works with many children and families across Castle Point who are facing all sorts of life challenges and sometimes, something as simple as a fun activity, a creative project or a fidget toy can make a surprisingly big difference to wellbeing.
