Another brilliant night at the Well Foundation Football Academy — and just look at the numbers on the pitches! 👏⚽️
What started as an idea to give children more opportunities through sport has grown into something very special. Every week, our academy brings together children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds to play, learn, build confidence, make friends and simply enjoy football.
💙 We’re incredibly proud to work alongside professional coaches from Rangers FC and Motherwell FC, together with our own fantastic Well Foundation coaching team, giving our youngsters access to quality coaching and genuine football pathways.
But this is about much more than producing good footballers.
It’s about confidence. Discipline. Teamwork. Respect. Belonging.
For some children it’s their first ever organised football session. For others, it could be the beginning of a journey into the professional game. Our job is to make sure every child gets the opportunity to find out how far they can go. 🌟
From a handful of youngsters when we started to around 160 children now involved in our academy, the growth has been incredible — and we’re only getting started. 🚀
A massive thank you to Rangers FC, Motherwell FC, our coaches, volunteers, parents and especially the kids who make Wednesday nights what they are.
This is grassroots football.
