We are the leading charity for deafness and hearing loss in Lanarkshire and have connected communities since 2003. Lanarkshire Deaf Hub is the operating name for Lanarkshire Deaf Club (SCIO). iday from 09.00am to 04.30pm. We provide a drop in service to assist with translation of letters, forms and telephone calls for deaf and BSL communities or to provide information, advice and guidance support. Our Groups:
Families Group meets every Monday and Friday from 10.00am to 01.00pm at Lanarkshire Deaf Hub. This group is for pre-school age group (ages 0 to 5 years old) (older kids welcome during school holidays). We teach baby signs and promote better ways for families with a deafness and hearing loss to communicate with each other. Tea / coffee and soft drinks provided and toast for the kids.

50 Plus Group meets every Wednesday from 10.00am to 03.00pm at Lanarkshire Deaf Hub. This group is open to individuals with deafness and hearing loss ages 50 and over. Lanarkshire Deaf Social Club meets socially every Saturday from 06.00pm to 11.00pm at Lanarkshire Deaf Hub. The club is run by its own Committee who are volunteers. Email: [email protected]

Exploring science fun with Dr Audrey Cameron OBE and her team.
Jonathan's Cafe will be open, selling hot and cold food.

This exclusive event is open to children and young people ages 0 to 12 with hearing loss or deafness, and extended family members (CODAs) are welcome.

YASS Group stands for Young Adults Safe Space. It's a space for young people to connect, grow, and build real-life skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
YASS Group is open to young people and young adults with hearing loss and deafness, including CODAs, ages 16 to 26.

YASS Group is usually held on the first Thursday of the month (make sure you double-check the dates) between 06.30pm and 09.00pm at Lanarkshire Deaf Hub, 105 Roman Road, Motherwell ML1 1EA.

Suggested donation Β£2.00 (two pounds) per youth / young adult.
