PHEW Respite PHEW Scotland provides short breaks in a hotel environment for children and adults who experience severe to profound learning difficulties.

Our Aim:

Is to provide needs led support to children and adults with a learning disability and/or additional complex needs. Phew recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every individual by ensuring a person centred approach is adopted.

Phew provides short breaks in a hotel environment for children and adults who experience severe to profound learning difficulties. We are a charitable, not for profit organisation. We have a Board of Directors, representative of a variety of interests, which determines the policies and oversees the standards of care and practice of our service. Each guest who stays in the Centre will have an individual record of how they can be kept safe and well. The record includes choices and preferences of how the guests would like their needs catered for including dietary requirements, cultural and religious needs and social likes and dislikes.
