We support Children, Young People and their families who have experienced Traum, Grief & Loss.

The Miracle Foundation SCIO is a registered charity (SC049840) based in Motherwell who support Children, Young People and their families who have experienced a bereavement or trauma living within Lanarkshire. The charity aim to support as many children and young people as possible, particularly those from deprived and under-represented communities. Organisational services are designed to support C

hildren and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing by building resilience and creating a positive outlook on life. The Miracle Foundation Scio are continually adapting and create projects and services to positively impact the lives of our beneficiaries.

Mental Health Awareness Week

We are excited to be sharing our first of its kind trauma informed workforce training programme delivered by The Miracle Foundation SCIO

This programme focuses on the real conversations, pressures and challenges teams are facing within demanding environments giving staff practical tools, and approaches they can use straight away within their roles.

“A safe space to speak and reflect. Engaging, informative, and directly relevant to day to day practice.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our last training group provided overwhelmingly positive feedback with participants reporting increased confidence, stronger awareness of wellbeing and boundaries and an improved understanding of trauma informed practice.

Children cannot heal on waiting lists.

Across Lanarkshire and Glasgow right now, hundreds of children are living with trauma that affects how they feel, behave and learn every single day.

And too often, support comes too late.

At The Miracle Foundation SCIO, we see what early, trauma-informed support can do:
✨ A child who can manage their emotions
✨ A young person who stays engaged in school
✨ A family that begins to heal together

This is what prevention looks like.

We’ve built a whole family support model that is already working across schools and communities. It’s trusted, it’s impactful and it’s ready to grow.

But demand is higher than the support available.

This isn’t about starting something new.
This is about scaling what we know works.

With the right investment, we are ready to support:
• 1,200+ children
• Up to 900 families each year

Through:
– Parent–child trauma therapy
– Family mentoring and support
– School-based counselling and creative therapies

If we want to truly support children, reduce pressure on services and keep families together, we need to invest earlier.

Because children cannot wait.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that The Miracle Foundation SCIO has been selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts Grant Programme and now we need your support 💚

From Tuesday 28th April until the end of July, our project will be put to a public vote in Tesco stores.

‼️ Our project: Kids Hunger Relief Project – Motherwell

This project is about something we see every day.

Children and young people coming to therapy hungry, dysregulated, and unable to fully engage.

Through this funding, we will provide healthy snacks and food support so children can:
• Feel safe and settled
• Engage in their therapy
• Begin to heal and thrive

Because the reality is simple:

👉 Children cannot heal if their basic needs are not met.
