Aid to the Church in Need works in more than 140 countries funding around 5,000 projects helping Christians who are persecuted, oppressed or in pastoral need. In Scotland, the ACN Office supports benefactors, parishes, schools and special interest groups throughout Scotland to raise awareness and fundraise for suffering Christians around the world. We are always happy to visit your parish or school to speak about the charity and its work with persecuted Christians; we are also able to provide prayer cards, ACN literature and other support as required.

🙏 Today we commemorate the 50th anniversary of St John Ogilvie's canonisation. St John Ogilvie is known as Scotland's only post-Reformation martyr. He was martyred in 1615 for refusing to renounce his Catholic faith. ✝️

🌍 People around the world are still suffering for their faith, just as St John Ogilvie did. Today, we ask St John Ogilvie's intercession for suffering and persecuted Christians, and for an end to Christian persecution. 🕊️
