GLOW We exist to improve the lives of women and young girls to address mental health and overall wellbeing Visit www.glowni.com for more information

GLOW was established in 2011 as a charity and since then we have grown over the years based on the increasing need from women and girls in NI. When CEO Chara Clarke began to invest in one on one support for women in the local community she realised there was a greater need to help more women. Our aim is to see long-term change in their lives and offer bespoke personal development and mental health programmes as well as follow up support.

It’s Volunteers’ Week Volunteer Now and we’re celebrating the incredible people who make a difference in our community 💜

At Glow NI, we know the power of showing up, cheering others on, and creating spaces where women feel supported and encouraged and we’d love your help at the Belfast City Marathon Women’s 10K!

We’re looking for volunteers to join Team Glow and help at our cheer station and finish line stall, helping us celebrate, encourage and support the amazing 4000 women taking part. 🎉🏃‍♀️

Whether you can wave a sign, hand out encouragement, chat to runners at the finish line, or simply bring great energy, your support can make a real difference.

This Volunteers’ Week feels like the perfect time to get involved, connect with others, and be part of something uplifting in our city. 💜

We’re delighted to share that our CEO, Treasa, will be speaking at the Finding Voice Conference 2026: Women, Gendered Violence and Pathways to Peace at Queen's University Belfast on 13th June.

This important one-day conference brings together artists, academics, peacebuilding practitioners, community leaders and gender justice advocates to explore pathways to peace, deep listening and creative practice as approaches to conflict transformation and social repair.

We’re proud to contribute to the panel discussion and to conversations on how voices can be reclaimed, sustained and amplified in contexts shaped by violence, silencing and division.

Join the conversation as we explore relational approaches to healing, justice and lasting peace.

A massive thank you to Laura from Soul Holistics for last night's 9D Breathwork session.

The feedback from the group was so positive💜

9D Breathwork is a powerful, immersive healing experience that combines guided breathwork, multi-dimensional sound frequencies, and subconscious reprogramming to help release stored trauma and emotional blockages.

Using layered sound technology and binaural beats, it takes you on a deep inner journey that activates the body’s natural healing response, resets the nervous system, and helps you reconnect with your true self.

This session provided the ladies with the opportunity to create profound emotional release, mental clarity, and lasting transformation.

💜Glow NI x West Wellbeing 💚

We are proud to announce a new collaboration between Glow NI and West Wellbeing Su***de Prevention, made possible through funding from the Belfast City Council CSP Large Grant Programme.

Together, we will deliver a targeted programme for young women living in residential social care, focused on strengthening resilience, preventing su***de, reducing risk behaviours, and building lasting confidence and wellbeing.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to creating safe, empowering spaces where young women can feel supported, heard, and equipped with the tools to thrive.

We are excited to begin this important work and look forward to the positive impact this programme will have across our communities.
